Does your DE&I include disability?

30% of college-educated employees in white-collar work environments identify as having a disability, but only 4% of companies consider disability in their DE&I efforts.

As a disability inclusion advocate with over a decade of experience, I help companies and schools cultivate a more inclusive and accessible culture.

Inclusive workplace culture starts
with you.

At over 20% percent of the global population, individuals with disabilities represent the world’s largest minority. In the workforce (and in the marketplace), people with disabilities—as well as their families, friends, and advocates—wield considerable power.

The problem is, most Americans never receive an education on disability awareness, history, etiquette, or contemporary standards for inclusion. When it comes to building an anti-ableist workplace, few companies know where to start.

As a DEI speaker and consultant, I help organizations of all sizes (from small local businesses to large multinational corporations) start meaningful conversations about disability, accessibility, and belonging.

Solutions for organizations of any size:

    Keynotes + Workshops

The challenges facing the disability population can feel complicated and intimidating, especially to those learning about them for the first time. My approach – whether I’m working with a small group of leaders or speaking to thousands at a corporate seminar – is accessible, relatable, and helpful.

  • Consulting

Taking the first step in your disability inclusion journey? Let me help you implement more equitable business practices, increase employee engagement, and enhance overall workplace culture.

  • Marketing Strategy

With more than 25% of the American population identifying as having a disability, most marketers are missing a large (and influential) audience. Let’s create a campaign strategy that includes (and authentically represents) people with disabilities.

Keynotes and workshops for students and educators

Today’s students understand the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion. But, it can be challenging to engage with students on these topics in a way that feels meaningful and authentic to them. To learn more about my school offerings, find me over at Generation Spirit.

“We’re so grateful for Sarah! Even as the [Disability Employee Resource Group] Champion I learned a lot. The information covered was incredibly important and relevant for everyone at Bain. I received several emails from colleagues thanking me for hosting the session.”
